Manju Warrier is a Malayalam film actress and dancer. While she was still in school, Manju showed extra ordinary talent in dance, and won several awards. He was awarded the Kalatilakam for 2 years at the Kerala Youth Festival.
At the age of 18, he made his debut in actor Dileep's co-star Salampam (1996), which became a huge hit. Since then, she has acted in around 20 Malayalam films in three years, most of which have been hits. She won several awards and received critical acclaim and was considered the top heroine of her time. She is still one of the most liked actresses in Malayalam. She has not acted in any other language in her career. She was initially the first choice for director Mani Ratnam's film Alai Putuhi, but could not do the film due to date troubles and then her sudden marriage.
Her performance in the film Kannahuzhi Potam Thottu was exceptional and received a special mention from the jury for the National Film Awards. After her marriage to actor Dileep, she retired from the film industry. The last film in which he acted before retiring from the industry was Patharam, co-starring Suresh Gopi.
Early Life and Family -- Manju Warrier was born in Kannur, Kerala on September 10, 1978 at 7.30 am. Her father is an accountant, and mother a housewife. He has a brother Madhu Warrier who is also an actor. She attended chowwa high school.
She was a talented dancer and made her debut in Malayalam films at the age of 15. She established herself as an actress in a very short period of time from her first film. Manu Warrier married fellow actor Dilip on 20 October 1998 in Alvida. Sri Krishna Temple. In 2015, they divorced.
Awards and nominations - Manju is the recipient of several awards including a National Film Award, a Kerala State Film Award and seven Filmfare Awards South. She is the only Malayalam actress to have won the Filmfare Awards South four times in a row (1996–199) and set a record seven times in total.

Kanmadham-- Directed by AK Lohitadas, Manju as Bhanu has a permanent scowl on her face in this film. Due to circumstances, she's forced to display a tough-as-nails exterior. Manju drew out empathy for Bhanu's conflicts with her powerful performance, pitched against Mohanlal's.
