Early life - Tirath Singh Rawat was born on 9 April 1964 in village Sinro of Pauri Garhwal district, India. Born to a Rajput family of hill descent, his father was Mr. Kalam Singh Rawat, and mother Mrs. Gaura Devi.
Rawat, with a master’s degree in sociology and a diploma holder in journalism, entered active student politics
2007 He was again elected as an MLA from Doiwala constituency.
2010 Trivendra was appointed as National Secretary of BJP.
2014 He was appointed as an Incharge of BJP, Jharkhand. He was also appointed as one of the members of "Namaami Gange" to clean Holy Ganga.
2017 He took oath as the 8th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand in March 2017 after BJP got a remarkable mandate of 57 out of 70 seats in the state assembly elections.
2021 Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned from the post of Uttarakhand chief minister on 9 March, 2021.
