Early Life and Family

Burnham was born on August 21, 1990, in Hamilton, Massachusetts, the youngest of three children of Scott Burnham, a construction company owner, and Patricia, a hospice nurse whose work was shadowed during a 2014 episode of This American Life.

He graduated from St. John’s prep school in Danvers, Massachusetts In 2008, where he was on the respect roll and involved in theatre and therefore the campus ministry program.

In 2020, he appeared alongside Carey Mulligan in Emerald Fennell’s comedy revenge thriller Promising girl . He plays Ryan Cooper, a pediatric surgeon and love interest for Cassie (Mulligan).
