Wagner accepted his invitation to participate in the 2012 Senior Bowl on January 14, 2012. He was the first player from Utah State to play in the game since Chris Cooley in 2004. Wagner participated in the Senior Bowl on January 28, 2012, and recorded 22 combined tackles and an interception for Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier’s North team, which defeated the South 23-13.
