Carmen Salinas Lozano is a Mexican actress, impressionist, comedian, politician and theatre entrepreneur. She was associated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) during her politic days.
In 2015, the PRI placed Salinas on its proportional representation list for election from the fourth electoral region, winning her a seat in the Chamber of Deputies for the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress.

Ernesto Alonso was her first television director, and she began her career in 1964. She was cast in the show La vecindad, La frontera after her first performance (The Border). She has appeared in a number of plays, as well as more than 110 films and 30 television episodes, in which she collaborated with prominent actors and producers such as Denzel Washington and Juan Osorio.
