The pair also finished second at the 2016 US Open and advanced to the semifinals at the 2017 Australian Open. Garcia achieved her career-high doubles ranking of world No. 2 in October 2016, and she has won seven WTA Tour doubles titles, including the 2016 Madrid Open.
