Charlbi Dean Early Life and Education
She began homeschooling at the age of 12 and signed with Alfa Model Management. For her career, she travelled between Cape Town, where she attended Waterfront Theatre School, and Tokyo, New York, and London. Dean and fellow model Ashton Schnehage survived a car accident in October 2008. She was admitted to Milnerton Medi-Clinic and underwent life-saving surgery, the scars of which she later displayed at an AMI Alexandre Mattiussi fashion show. Following the accident, she took a break from her career. Dean made her film debut as Amanda in the 2010 adaptation of Spud, a role she would reprise in the sequel Spud 2: The Madness Continues.
