Court Reject Rhea Chakraborty bail request in drugs case,sent to judicial custody for 14 days

On Tuesday  court here remanded Rhea Chakraborty, captured in a medications case identified with entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, in legal guardianship till September 22 while dismissing her bail plea.She was delivered by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) before an extra boss legal judge through video-gathering after her capture.

On Tuesday  court here remanded Rhea Chakraborty, captured in a medications case identified with entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, in legal guardianship till September 22 while dismissing her bail plea.She was delivered by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) before an extra boss legal judge through video-gathering after her capture. 

The NCB asserted that she was a "functioning part" of a medications partner and acquired medications for Rajput, her boyfriend.The court dismissed her bail supplication and sent her in legal care till September 22 after the NCB said it didn't need her care as it has just scrutinized her for three days.Her legal advisor Satish Maneshinde said they will move toward meetings court for bail. 

Following three days of addressing, Rhea Chakraborty was captured by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) here in a medications case connected to her sweetheart and entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput's death.As the 28-year-old entertainer was going to be delivered under the watchful eye of a court through video interface following clinical assessment, a top NCB official said the office would not look for her care yet will request legal remand. 

The areas of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act summoned against her incorporate 8(c) (deal, ownership or production of restricted medications), 20(b) (ii) (ownership or utilization of little amount of prohibited medications), according to her attorneys. 

"Rhea has been captured under segments 27A, 21, 22, 29 and 28 of NDPS," said K P S Malhotra, Deputy Director of NCB.After the capture she was taken for clinical tests including COVID-19 test to the metro run Sion clinic in Central Mumbai. Before leaving for medical clinic in a vehicle with NCB authorities, the entertainer, clad in dark, waved at media people. 

She was joined by a lady police official too.At the medical clinic, her antigen test for COVID-19 came out negative, authorities said.She was then taken to the NCB office around 7.15 pm, where she was to be created under the watchful eye of the court through video conferencing. 

Addressing media people, Mutha Ashok Jain, NCB Deputy Director General, South West district, said the focal office had enough proof to capture her.But no booty was recouped from her and the NCB needn't bother with her authority for cross examination and would look for legal guardianship, he said.
