After Pfizer, the Serum Institute has sought permission from DCGI for the emergency authorization of the corona vaccine. The Corona vaccine from Oxford and AstraZeneca is undergoing trial serum institute of India. The Serum Institute of India has become the primary indigenous company to hunt permission from DCGI for the Corona vaccine.

The company has submitted data for emergency authorization. Sources said that the corporate has requested this approved zone citing medical needs and therefore the public interest at a wider level during the epidemic.

At an equivalent time, SII together with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Sunday conducted a clinical test of the third phase of 'Kovishield', Oxford's covid-19 vaccine in several parts of the country.

SII's application, saying that the corporate has stated that four data from clinical trials have revealed that covicshield is sort of effective within the case of symptomatic patients and particularly serious patients of Covid-19. Two of the four test data belong to the united kingdom while one each belongs to India and Brazil.
