Dean Berta Vinales a 15-year-old of the Supersport 300 World Championship died after he was involved in a multi-rider incident at turn one during Saturday’s Septmber 25th opening race of the Motul Spanish Round at the Circuit de Jerez-Angel Nieto. The race was immediately red-flagged.
Viñales was a rookie in the 300 class and rode for his uncle’s Vinales Racing Team after two years in the European Talent Cup. In the last two seasons, he competed in the European Talent Cup, his best result being 13th place last year. He is a cousin of Maverick Viñales

Dean Berta Vinales was Born on 20 April 2006 in Palau Saverdera. Vinales was the cousin of MotoGP star Maverick who rides for the Vinales Racing Team run by Maverick’s father Angel, fell on lap 11 of the SSP300 race and appeared to be collected by the following group of riders.

All of Saturday’s action was cancelled following a serious incident in the opening round of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championships, after which Vinales, cousin of MotoGP race winner Maverick Vinales, was pronounced dead.
The Spaniard was one of the five riders involved in a collision at turn two at the start of lap 11 along with Alejandro Carrion, Daniel Mogeda, Harry Khouri and Yeray Ruiz.The race was immediately red-flagged by the stewards, with Kawasaki rider Jeffrey Buis declared the winner based on the results of the last completed lap.
“Medical vehicles arrived at the site immediately and the rider was attended to on track, in the ambulance and at the circuit Medical Centre.”Despite the best efforts of the circuit medical staff, the Medical Centre has announced that Berta Vinales has sadly succumbed to his injuries.”

Dean was on lap 11 of the championships when he suffered severe head and spinal injuries in the crash involving four other riders.Paramedics rushed on to the track after the race was stopped and the rider was transferred to a medical centre on site.
