First batches of Covishield, Serum Institute's vaccine against COVID-19 Left Pune to be taken to different parts of the country

Ahead of the vaccination drive against coronavirus, the primary batches of Covishield, the vaccine produced by Serum Institute of India (SII) left Pune to be taken to different parts of the country. Three trucks carrying Covishield vaccine reached Pune International Airport from Serum Institute of India's facility within the city during the first hours of Tuesday and are being shipped to different locations within the country.

The vaccination will start on January 16. consistent with Sandip Bhosale, MD of SB Logistics, the corporate handling air transport of the vaccine from Pune airport, a complete of eight flights will transport Covishield vaccine from Pune International Airport to 13 different locations on Tuesday. the primary flight, which left for Delhi Airport, is slated to succeed in the capital on Tuesday morning.
