Google has introduced a new app for its Pixel Watch smartwatch. The app, dubbed Google Pixel Watch, will assist users in setting up and managing Google Pixel Watch, and it is now available. Because Google Pixel Watch does not support iPhone, the app is no longer available in the Apple App Store.
The Pixel Watch app is only available for devices running Android 8 or higher. The app is available in India, but it is practically useless because the smartwatch will not be available in the Indian watch market. The Pixel Watch will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Taiwan, according to Google.
Because Google has released a dedicated app, smartwatches with custom WearOS, such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series, will continue to run on their proprietary apps rather than the new Pixel Watch app. Users can personalize their Watch faces using Google’s dedicated app.
The vanilla model costs Rs 59,999, while the Pro model costs Rs 84,999. Google has also announced limited-time launch offers for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, including a Rs. 6,000 cashback on the Pixel 7 and Rs. 8,500 cashback on the Pixel 7 Pro.Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Watch costs $349 (approximately Rs 28,600) for the Bluetooth variant and $399 (approximately Rs 32,700) for the LTE variant. As previously stated, Google will not be releasing the Pixel Watch in India.
They can also manage tiles, notifications, and Google accounts, as well as install third-party apps such as Spotify. Users will be able to carry out these actions on the smartwatch as well, but the app will serve as an extension of it. It may also assist users in activating their eSIM on the LTE variant. According to its official page, the app was released on September 30 and is approximately 19MB in size.

Google’s first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, was unveiled last night alongside the Pixel 7 smartphones and Pixel tablet. The Android tablet will be available next year, and the Pixel 7 series will be available for purchase in India on October 13 through Flipkart.
Google The Pixel Watch was recently released, and it comes with Wear OS 3.5. The new user interface is incompatible with the old Wear OS by Google Smartwatch, implying that this device has its own app. The app is now only available on Google Play; it will not pair with iPhones because the Watch requires a phone running Android 8.0 or higher, a Google Account, and internet access.
According to the screenshots, users will be able to customize the watch face and what information is displayed on it, there will be notification support, and the Exercise and Daily heart rate will be linked with Fitbit. There is also Google Maps support, which makes navigating unfamiliar streets much easier and safer.
Unfortunately, the app will only work with Google Pixel Watch users. Anyone else who downloads it will be prompted to buy one and will be directed to Google’s website. The Wi-Fi model costs $350/€380, while the LTE model costs $400/€430, but it is free with a Pixel 7 Pro pre-order.
