In the 1986 Nine Network-PBL mini-series Cyclone Tracy, starring Chris Haywood and Tracy Mann, Ritchie played Molly, the child lead. She began working on Home and Away in 1987, when she was eight years old. Production began in July 1987, and the show debuted on the Seven Network on January 17, 1988.
