On February 15, 2008, the Florida Marlins signed Ozuna as a world free agent with a $49,000 bonus.Ozuna was promoted to Jupiter Hammerheads of the category A-Advanced Florida State League for the 2012 season.That year, he led the Florida State League in home runs, RBIs, runs scored, and total bases.
