Tom Cruise became a subject of dialogue after his rant on the sets of Mission Impossible 7 . The actor expressed his vexation towards the crew members after he saw them not following the rules for COVID-19 during the shoot. He was heard ranting and warning them that their job are going to be at stake if the behaviour is repeated. Now, George Clooney has reacted to the reports of Tom Cruise's ranting behaviour on the sets.
When asked what he would have done if being on an equivalent situation, as per E! News, George told Howard Stern, "I wouldn't have done it that big. i would not have, you know, pulled people out. You're during a position of power and it's tricky, right? you are doing have a responsibility for everyone else and he's absolutely right that . And, you know, if the assembly goes down, tons of individuals lose their jobs. People need to understand that and need to be responsible. It's just not my style too, you know, to require everybody to a task that way."
Clooney further said, "I think it doesn't help necessarily to point to specific people therein way and roll in the hay that…but, you know, everybody has their own style. The people that were thereon shoot will tell us more about it. I understand why he did it. he is not wrong in the least that . You know, I just, i do not know that i might have done it quite that personally, but i do not know all the circumstances so maybe he had it 10 or 15 times before."
