Nadeau is the daughter of the television journalist Pierre Nadeau and the goddaughter of Peter Jennings, She studied special needs education at university, but left the field after a year and began working as a journalist for news radio station CKAC in Montreal. Pascale Nadeau Professional Career
In 1982, Nadeau began her journalistic career as a radio presenter in Quebec City for CKRL-FM. She then relocated to Montréal and began working for Radio-Canada, where she spent several years as a news reporter and anchor.
In 1997, Nadeau joined the TVA network and became the host of the network’s signature newscast, “Le TVA Nouvelles.” She held this position for more than two decades, becoming one of the most recognisable personalities in Quebec journalism. During her tenure at TVA, Nadeau covered a variety of incidents, including the September 11 attacks, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and the 2012 Quebec student protests.

In addition to her work as a journalist, Nadeau has written a number of novels. Her first work, “La chambre noire” (The Darkroom), was published in 2011 and recounted her experiences as a journalist. She has also written a number of novels about health and wellness, such as “Le stress, ca me stress” (Stress, it Stresses Me Out) and “J’arrête de procrastination!” (I’m Quitting Procrastinating!).
Nadeau departed TVA in 2019 to pursue other endeavours after more than two decades of service. Presently, she conducts a podcast entitled “Pas comme les autres” (Not Like the Others) in which she interviews guests about their life experiences.
