Sachin Hindrao Vaze is a police officer of the Maharashtra police of India. Vaze is understood as an ‘extra-judicial killer’ with the Mumbai Encounter Squad and was involved within the deaths of 63 alleged criminals. He joined the Maharashtra police in 1990. He was suspended for 17 years after being arrested in custody. The death of Khwaja Yunus, but was granted bail and later reinstated in June 2020.
