Political Career and Achievements
Savitri Jindal was elected to the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 2005 from the Hisar constituency, which had previously been represented by her late husband Om Prakash Jindal. She was re-elected to the constituency in 2009, and on October 29, 2013, she was appointed as a cabinet minister in the Haryana government.
She was previously Minister of State for Revenue and Disaster Management, Consolidation, Rehabilitation, and Housing, as well as Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies and Housing.
