Ferguson started his journey into the world of entertainment in Lesotho as a club DJ at The Palace Hotel Night Club in 1992. After moving back to Botswana his focus shifted to the corporate world and he ended up in the IT business. Having started as a salesman, he worked his way up to become a respected businessman where he won multiple achievement awards, he is not dead including Top Sales Manager Award 1998-99 while working at EDUTECH.

Shona passed away at the Milpark private hospital in Johannesburg on Friday afternoon.The media mogul was admitted there last week after suffering from chest pains.
It was later discovered that he had heart problems and he underwent a major heart operation.A source to the family confirmed the matter.

Connie is busy with the funeral arrangements,” said the source.Attempts to solicit comments from Connie drew a blank as her phone, understandably, just rang unanswered.Earlier this week, Sunday World reported that Shona was on a ventilator in ICU and his condition had recently worsened.
