Tata Motors said on Thursday that it's launched a replacement trim with its entry-level hatchback Tiago automatic manual transmission (AMT) priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With this launch of the XTA variant, the corporate is strengthening its automatic lineup with its AMT options, Tata Motors said during a statement.
Tiago has received tremendous market response from across the region. additionally , the automated transmission (AT) segment in India is booming and has also been proven in Tiago sales, ”said Vivek Srivatsa, passenger marketing business unit (PVBU), head marketing, Tata Motors. He said that while acknowledging the growing preference for ATS, the corporate is offering the XTA version.
"We are confident that this new variant won't only give us a competitive edge up the mid-hatch segment but also provide an accessible option for patrons to settle on from in the least costs," Shrivats said. So far, the corporate has sold quite 3.25 lakh units of hatchback within the domestic market.
