Boyle signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2018.After an impressive preseason, Boyle made the 53-man roster in September 2018, as the team’s third string quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and DeShone Kizer.
During the 2018 regular season, Boyle did not appear. On October 20, 2019, he made his professional debut against the Oakland Raiders in a Week 7 win. After the game was won, Boyle took over for Rodgers in the final minutes, kneeling the ball three times for three yards to run out the clock.
On November 24, 2019, during a blowout Week 12 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, he saw more extended playing time and completed his first NFL throw to reserve tight end Robert Tonyan. He went 3-for-4 for 15 yards in the contest.
